The other day I had lunch in Frankie’s restaurant in Temple Bar, it was Saturday around 14.00 so the place was not full. The atmosphere in the restaurant was tranquil and relax. I had the set Menu for 2 COURSES €14.95, I order the Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese that my cousin had and the Frankies New York Burger with Tomato & Red Onion and steakhouse Chips that I ate. Two friends had the Crispy Calamari alla romana, Garlic Aioli and the Steak Sandwich, Chips, peppercorn mayonnaise & Onion rings with (€5 supplement) and my cousin had the 10oz Ribeye Steak & Peppercorn Sauce with Steakhouse Chips for €24.50.
The calamari where delicious really nice texture and quantity but my surprise was when they brought the Steak Sandwich, they were actual Steaks. The taste was really nice you could taste the grill flavour out of the steak. Really nice presentation, quality and taste. This was sever with their own sauce and their chips.
Then the 10oz Ribeye Steak it was really good, it was perfectly cook, pink inside and with the grill taste. It was server with thick chips that work very well with the steak.
When they server the food we had 4 people bringing each plate only for us, with a smile in their face. They were actually very nice. After lunch I decide to look around and downstairs they have a really nice venue for Parties well decorate and nice natural light.
I got a very good impression of the place and the customer service all the time looking after us. I would recommend this place for a office dinner or an early bird lunch really nice place.
